Teaching
I mainly teach anglophone literature from the early modern period to the present, with a focus on revising the literary canon through queerfeminist, postcolonial, and Marxist interventions. Since 2023, I have been an Associate Fellow of Advance HE (formerly the Higher Education Academy). During the academic year 2023/24, I served as Director of Studies in English at Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge.
I am currently teaching in the English Tripos at the University of Cambridge, where I am predominantly supervising students for Papers 6 (English Literature and its Contexts 1660-1870), 7a (English Literature and its Contexts 1830-1945), and 7b (English Literature and its Contexts 1870-Present) as well as Practical Criticism and Critical Practice and the Prose Forms paper. I am also supervising student dissertations on topics related to my research interests.
For Literature Cambridge, I offer lectures on the novels of Jane Austen aimed at general audiences.
